After making my way somewhat gingerly home from Yew after the debacle at the Western Chapter's mass I rallied the guardsmen to the rooftop for parade.
It seemed I was not the only one nursing a few knocks as Regular Grenadier Takeamada was curled up in a ball bleeding all over the parade ground. Not only was he foolhardy enough to try and take on five Besiegers in Yew it turned out that he had also tried to pick a fight with the returning Northern Chapter churchmen too... Some thing he would pay dearly for later on.
Tardiness will nay be tolerated!Once again the scroll left by the army's clerks was bereft of names for promotion or accolades. How could so little be getting done yet there be such a number of guardsmen on parade?
Tardiness is the only explanation! Therefore if there are no promotions at next week's parade a guardsman will be chosen at random and flogged.

Lucky to escape with his life I say!Speaking of floggings... That was to be Takeamada's fate as decreed by Templar Preceptor Siegfried for his assault on the Churchmen. It could have been far worse. Death has been known to be the penalty for such actions but perhaps the Preceptor was in a benevolent mood after the happenings earlier in Yew.
Commander Morana once again victorious in yet another last man standing competition.After the Grenadier had received his twenty lashes and had been escorted to the healers the remaining guardsmen battled out a last man standing, with the Commander once again victorious.
