Survival Of The Warmest, Part One
- Lead a brief wilderness survival training to Dagger Isle, teaching those attending the various ways of keeping oneself fed and sheltered in the frozen wastelands.

Surivival Of The Warmest, Part Two
- If anyone starts showing signs of frostbite (shouldnt take long), lead a hunt into the nearby dungeon Despise.
- Gather at least 5,000 coins.

Survival of the Warmest Part One and Two

Leading:
Elizabeth Martin

Attending:
Hoagie
Torrak Keres
Aliryl Trefynwyd
Raven
Kal ShadowHand
Valkur
Hayden Shepard
Jon Trent

As ordered  arranged to take the group to Dagger Isle, I provided some very stylish and warm clothing for everyone to wear, but some seemed grudgingly to even put it on! I don't get it, I spent a lot of time finding the perfect colour, and spending my own money to have the Mercenaries clothed as we went into the unknown of Dagger Isle. I started to explain the possiblities of shelter once in the wilderness and bitter cold of the mountains. One possibility would be to find a cave, which, would probably be the best option, as it saves a lot of energy, which of course is needed while you lost in the bitter wilderness. But if no caves are suitable, or none can be found I also instructed them on how to build a snow drift hole, in which you dig a hole into the snow, in which you can make about 3 times your own body size so that it is big for comfort sleeping, yet small enough to hold as much heat as possible.

I then began to talk about how it is most important to try and have a fire, and keep morale up. Easy ways of holding morale is stew a cup of hot tea on a fire, or sing quiet songs, generally keeping your mind off of the situation at hand that can be pressing and depressing of your spirit. the worst thig you can do in a situation of survival is to lose hope. On the other hand you need to be sure that you keep your head about you and make sure you are prepared for anything!

After talking to everyone, even though it seems that everyone was doing their own thing and not paying any attention to me, we moved on to Deceit for part two. As Despise is not on the island, I assumed that Keres meant Deceit that IS on the island. We quickly went through to the Deceit dungeon, slaying all of the undead in sight. We quickly made our way down the steps to the 2nd floor where we met more resistance of tougher undead. On the 2nd floor we found the first red hat, a red Wizards Hat, quite scary. As we pushed further on the group started to fall apart, no one was listening to my orders and everyone was running off, despite my constant reminding. We fought our way through down to the 3rd floor where we found a red cap also, spooky. After fumbling and a few peole being knocked we made it down to strike down the Lichs. We then returned home, depositing a total of 10,000 odd coins to the coffers.

Th'hidden third task was a navigational one; realizin' the orders were mistaken about which dungeon ye was supposed to go to. You...erh...passed. Good work.
