I was stopped by some fella goin' on about dyin' fish eggs due to the storms and floodin' of the docks as I approached the tavern. Be more than dyin' bloody fish eggs if this damn weather don't abate. The Commoner was tryin' to push some stinkin' fish steaks onto me when a deadie burst from the woods from the direction of the graveyard.
The deadie ran into the tavern and no sooner had he entered did Railen arrive and make her way there too. I bellowed a warning but was too late. The undead made a grab for her. I pushed the fishmonger out of the way, unslinging my shield and arming my mace. The deadite released his grip on Rai' and sped off into the Shire. I gave chase and soon ran the bone pile down and smashed it to bits.
One undead pounded into the dirt.When I returned to the tavern Railen was understandably shaken and a little green around the gills from the stench of fish emantin' from the Commoner's clothin'. I bought some fishsteaks just to get rid of the peddler and then tried to settle Rai' down in the tavern.
We decided to take a stroll and so headed westwards to visit the King's Deer tavern in Yew. The Yewish didn't make us feel
"unwelcome" so we made ourselves at home and one or two of the Yewlanders were brave enough ter speak with us.
Covians enjoying Yewish hospitality in the King's Deer tavern.As time past we were joined by Buttons, Hoagie, Kado and a commoner and so were enjoying ourselves heartily until some turd of a Besieger in an ugly blue skullcap tried causin' some bother with Kado. Was at this point that Railen and myself headed home...
We had discussed children's names. Decided that
"Hoagie" would
NOT be involved in any of them. I decided that once I could say it right that Hermione was nice but Rai' liked my suggestion of Stella. We're pretty much agreed on Ryan if it's a lad.
Rai' had also accidently smashed Buttons in the face with a bottle of ale and I had accidently agreed to grow a beard.
*shifty eyes* If only I hadn't had that last ale...
