Greetings, Covians.
I play on the Atlantic shard. Recently we have had a rash of your "recruitment" books placed all over our lands. As a member of the Atlantic Roleplaying Community, I would ask that this activity please desist. As you know, Ultima Online is not in it's shining days anymore and the population has decreased greatly from what it once was. On Atlantic we have a fairly sizable roleplay community and we would prefer to keep it that way and even have a chance to expand it more. I come here as a sign of respect to fellow roleplayers - I would ask that same respect be given in return. I don't want flame wars or drama, I just want to see roleplay thrive in my community. We appreciate that you want to bring in roleplayers and you are welcome to do so on other shards but please - leave Atlantic alone. Thank you.

While BoC takes these concerns seriously, and understands that it is difficult to create and maintain communities, it is our belief that where a player partakes in RP is really an issue of their personal choice. Therefore we believe it's fair that we inform players about the opportunity to join the Baronship and the wider Europa community. BoC draws its membership from a diverse pool of players, and I'm sure that not all the players of the Atlantic RP community are necessarily from the Atlantic geographical region.
BoC always takes care to approach recruiting on other shards with sensitivity and attempts to avoid recruiting in well-known RP hubs; however BoC believes that areas such as moongates are public spaces and therefore open to anyone regardless of shard to advertise.
Kind regards,
Baron Octiovus.
