* The Event - Culling the spawn of covetous
* Members involved, Hoagie, Rita, Vincent, Robin, Tam, Kals new char (cant remember his name)
* Achievements. 23639 gold 800 feathers, watching kal get killed four times in 5 seconds by a dread spider.
The order was given " You men, With me! To covetous to cull the giant birds". When we signed up we where promised travel, experience and comfort.
I didn't expect the travel to be running from cove to various dungeons, the experience to kill abominable creatures and the comfort to be fighting by torchlight.
However we where off again to defend the town. As we gathered outside the dungeon entrance sweating from our all too familiar journey. The inevitable question
was asked "Who amongst you shall write the report?" answered of course with the inevitable answer......silence.
Upon entering the dungeon huge blasts of fire shot up to the caves ceiling singing Hoagies beard and startling the rest of the party. We advanced carefully and it wasn't long before
the familiar sound and smell of the giant birds hit us. "Form" came the cry and we scurried into position smashing, whacking and stabbing the dirty birds into oblivion.
Deeper we went into the dungeon killing all manner of beast, some magical, some animal, some vegetable, all evil. After clearing the first level of its inhabitants we stopped for a bite of
lunch and a spontanious sing song, this raised spirits. Then Hoagie sang. This froze our heroic group quicker and more effectively than any evil spell.
After lunch we continued down a level fighting lich after lich, checking all rooms for any potential survivors to no avail. After the successful cull we returned home once again, safe and sound albeit with the horror of hoagies singing still ringing in our ears.
