So tonight was off to Trinsic's Painted Caves to slay the Black Bear menace Grobu and collect his fur as a trophy for the Baron. So I made sure everybody had enough bandages and whatever else they might need and off to the moongate we ran. Ran because some of the men were looking a bit fat. We got to Trinsic and I had to remember where the cave was located. Luckily Raiden knew. But even with that we ended up across the river from the cave. So the genius Aylmer marked a rune on our location then teleported across and sent us a gate. Pure genius. And with that we prepared ourselves for what was ahead. So we entered the Cave. Greeted by a welcoming committee of Trogs, we knew this was going to be a bloody battle. After slaying what seemed like hundreds of them we made it to where Grobu slept.
Slaying the first Grobu I had no chance of getting its fur. The Trogs ate it or something to boost them. And we got caught up fighting a Lurg. After loads of bandages and bolts gone we defeated the Lurg and had to retreat for a second. Also having to fight yet another Lurg. We regrouped and went at Grobu again, but yet another Lurg awaited. Covian force defeated the ugly cave men and we slayed another Grobu. This time i quickly grabbed the fur and straight ripped it off. No skinning knife needed. I wanted to get it and get out. So we gathered it and killed some more Trogs then finally made it out alive. Leaving a trail of blood and cave men behind us. Painted Caves is a good name for what we did to the walls. Trog blood will forever lay there.
Good job everybody that came. We showed them what formed tactics and bigger brains can do.
