Patroling Shame and the un-explained spy (Report)

Shame Patrol
"Gathering a patrol together is the easy part, keeping it together is another !"
 - Arc

I took a stroll out of the barracks in my newly crafted uniform,
a full set of shadow iron platemail, this was rediculous ! how
could anyone wear such a thing all day long? so heavy, so slow...
I called out for a line-up and the recruits that were hanging
around quickly jumped into possition.

"Right you lazy good for nothings !" I yelled at the recruits,
"Its time to put you to work", the recruits stood eager to
know what they're next duty was, it was a hunt to shame,
the portal opened and into it we went.

Upon reaching the other side we all stepped through and lined up,
yet before the gate could close itsself another woman hopped
through and disapeared into the shadows, i shruged and got back
to the patrol.

They were to be split into 3 groups to scower the lower levels of the
dungeon, they were as follows;

Group 1

Corporal, Arc (Leading)
Recruit, Ezekiel
Recruit, Vandrick

Group 2

Junior, Valiro (Leading)
Recruit, Cor'ali... whathisface
Recruit, (I forgot, sorry !)

Group 3

Recruit, Morgoth (Leading)
Recruit, Indrid Cold
Recruit, Nemo

We moved into the cave and headed on past the first earth beast to
the crossroad iside the dungeon, we split into out seperate groups
and head out own ways to meet later on in the hunt.

My group head down the eastern cavern, many earth elementals stood
in our path only to be smashed down by our weapons and spells,
though all the time i sensed we were being followed, every now and
then i'de hear footsteps and have brief sightings of a dark figure
following us through the cave.

All group met at the moongate and we progressed through to the bridge
area, Valiro confirmed someone was following but there was nothing we
could do at this time, so we progressed on through the dungeon, i decided
all groups should stick together from this point on.

We moved on slicing down elementals until a recruit noticed Morgoth had
disapeared from the group, and we split up to find him. a few of us stumbled
upon him standing with an elemental about to beat him down, when out of
the shadow leapt th woman, she attacked the elemental with her poisoned
blade and it fell, then she retreated into the caves and we gave chase.

I was caught up by 3 elementals but Valiro managed to keep the chase going
until he eventually lost her but alas, she had left a note.

"I have something that can benefit us both, meet me at Skara Brae bank in 15 minutes
 - A Friend"

We took the note and i opened a portal to the barracks for the patrol to go
through to take us home, after gathering the gold up, i headed to skara
brae to meet with this "Friend" but alas she did not show up, who was it?
what did she want? i guess we'll have to wait until the next time she shows
her face.

I did lead our small squad through the North tunnel. We got blocked many times but seemed to be the fastest way to the next level of the dungeon. When we arrived to the Portal we held the position until Arc's group and the other arrived.



About this spies note. A few of the recruits read it and I did ask them around and got a kind of copy of the parchment. So far we got.
