War Games With Yew

This afternoon Commander Eason lead a group of Covian guards to participate in some war games with Yew. Though Coves numbers were a bit low those that came showed up in full battle gear and ready to fight. Yew was gracious enough to lend us a few of their troops to make the teams a bit more even in the first mock battle.



A staged attack on Stone Keep came first, unfortunately even with the Yew reinforcements the Covian attackers were over whelmed. Proceeding that the guardsmen were lined up and Lord Protector Klion and Commander Eason picked teams for the next several exercises.

There were several rounds of "defend the cross roads" and the teams took turns holding down the make shift fort. Good defensive formations and some very fast and furious skirmishing took place. It was hard work but every one seemed to have vast amounts of fun.

With the new Covian Yewish alliance more of these events should be taking place. Hopefully next time more Covian guardsmen will attend so we can show these swamp dwellers what we're made of.

Was an exceptional training session. Had a lot of fun, and learnt a great deal.
It also felt somewhat that our Alliance with the Guardsmen Militia of Yew was strengthened, so an excellent job done!
