I thought Hugo's cloudy "demise" was part of a plot line but when I logged in this morning for Mass was told that the Church is possibly closing.

Is this true?

That'd be quite sad, I think, Mass was (believe it or not) my favorite weekly event! If it's a case of not enough input/activity I'd be more than happy to step up and help out however I can.

Please if anybody knows what's going on with the Church let me know, thanks Smiley

I'll be sad to leave y'all, for if the church closes, I leave. Or to quote Kiyoshi: "Boc will like die if he closes the church".

I've heard more than one person agree to that as well, listen to your underlings, Tibby.

The Church is NOT going to be scrapped. It's just that Hugo died. It's upto other churchies to keep it rolling.

Ditto, i also really enjoyed the weekly mass.  Seeing people cower before the altar, confessing their sins (no matter how small) then being convicted of being heathens and facing potential hanging/burnings accompanied by jeering from other members of the mass.

Great example of a totally non-combat orientated event that many players enjoyed.

Like Shadwell said. The Church is not going anywhere. Covians would burn in hell if we didn't receive our redemption at the hand of a good flogging, pilgrimmage.... oh and ofcourse...Tithing!

The church of Cove will remain, with the slight change of me being its overhead instead.

My computer broke so I won't be doing anything the coming week, though, sorry.
