Kal ShadowHand Takes a Bride

While sitten in the Barracks taking a breather from my long Patrol of the orc fort and the Shire grave yard, I was contenplating on some planes for the next days patrols when a pigeon flew in and landed on the desk I was sitten at. I took a note from its leg and read it: ( Kal ShadowHand, son of Marcus ShadowHand and Marrial ShadowHand, I hear by send you this note to let you know that your pressence is required as soon as possible. At your birth yer mother and father agreed that you will marry my Daughter when she has come of age. She is now 109 years of age and is ready for yer hand in marrage. You can find us just north of the Meer Village by the old ancient tree.)

I get up in shock for this was the first I heard of this, I had to find out what was going on. I go to the Scout Tower and gather a few things then set out for Sacrifice. As I got there I looked around from the shadows to make sure there was no trap waiting for me. After seeing that it was clear I then headed north to the meer Village and then past it to the old ancient tree. As I approached the tree I was met by this old elf that reall could move much better than I can. He told me to follow him and we went to the tree and then up on the first platform. We then sat and talked for awhile, I asked him if it was true that I was to marry his daughter, His reply was your marrage was set at birth and now the time has come for me to claim my bride. After hearing that was all of a sudden wasn't feeling very well. He told me not to worry that I would like his daughter and that she would make me a good wife.

He then called her out and to my surprize, She was the most Beautiful lady I have ever seen. She walked up and sat down across from me. My eyes was fixed on her Beauty I did not notice that she had set down. We then talked for awhile when her mother came out and said that it was time. I looked up and asked! Time for what, She then said! Time for the wedding young ShadowHand. I really didn't feel well now. I was so nervous that it felt like i could puke for weeks none stop. I guess her mother seen how nervous I was for she came out and handed me a Goblet and told me to drink it for it would settle my nerves. I drank the contents in the goblet and she was right I was no longer nervous.

Her son came up and handed me an outfit and showed me where i could change. I then started changing when I had a thought hit me:( What is everyone going to think when they find out I got married? ) I soon shrugged the idea and finished dreeing. I headed out and was escorted to the alter by two well dressed elves, her brother I guessed. I was standing at the alter when her Father came out and told me, As chieftan I will be performing the Cerimony. I nodded, then she came out all dressed up nicely, We then hed hands and her father commenced to marry us.

After all was done we had a big party and the I realized that I had to get back for I was not given permission for any time off from my duties. I told her I had to get back to cove soon for my duties to cove had to be taken care of. We went into her room and packed her things and she said her goodby's to her folks and we were soon on our way to cove. When we arrived back in Cove there was still no one around so I gave her the tour of Cove and showed her where not to go and where she could go without too much danger. We then retired to the scouts tower.
