My appoligies about last night...

As I logged on Kasei to re-enforce the Baron's troops, I noticed my machine being sluggish apart from the usual lag I am getting. Hence I announced I'd reboot and should have been right back... but hey, my good old pal Murphy came in to say hi and tell me all about his laws.

I couldn't get my connection back up with away and it got me thinking. I was beat, had some trouble with the girlfriend and there was a movie I really wanted to watch. But then, I had my responsibilities to my friends of the Baronship. There was a decision to make, either try to fix my con and get back in game asap or just take the evening off, relax and watch my movie. I opted for the second choice.

Ofcourse, most of you will say that you'll "totally understand" but it got me thinking. To be a responsibe and reliable member of the Baronship, how much responsibility should you take on? Does it mean logging in and doing your chores, going out of your way to assist the guild or just log on when you can and feel like it. Or... is there an in-between? Or... does it depend on your rank (and the desire to promote/maintain that rank)?

Just curious about your views on this matter.

Friends are friends...I feel a certain obligation to help and do things for the Barony. But I would rather call it an urge to have fun with friends!
