Report: The Black Wizard - Chapter 2

Cove, Graveyard
Commanding Officer: Boo Little
Guardsmen in attendance:
- Cleric Kain, Guardsman Recruit.
- William Little, Guardsman Recruit.
After getting thrown about a bit on top of the Barracks I decided I needed to do some training. The best place nearby was logically the Graveyard. Boo Little was kind enough to accompany me to take care of the Lich. We turned the expidition into a patrol.
The Lich was out on a patrol as well it seemed and we run into eachother while still outside the Graveyard. A fight soon ensued! Boo valiently defended me, but alas I fell. Nonetheless, Boo truimphed without me, slaying the evil Lich!
Moments later we were back at it! William Little dropped in just in time to help us dispatch the Lich's friend.
William headed outside the fence to clear out any stragglers. Boo and I fought our way up onto the stairs of the crypt. After a search of the interior we made our stand on the steps. THe undead attacked heavily, pushing us back into the doorway of the Crypt. Then I heard a voice I shall never forget.
We spun about, shocked by this man's apperance. The Crypt was empty, there was nowhere he could have hide! He wore long flowing black robes and a mask covering his entire face. Instantly he summoned undead from the grave and we were beset on all sides by evil.
I soon fell by the onslaught, but Boo held fast, the undead no match for the might of his mace! He was able to defeat the combined assault.
After taking our money he must have encanted some spell, I know not of such things, for the room suddenly burst into flames. Fire was everywhere.
We fled from the Crypt and we soon were chased by a mass of summoned undead. We reached the gate just as William reached us. He had heard our yells and come running as soon as possible. We made our stand at the gate. My axe made little difference to the fight so I ran back to the Barracks to make my report.
