A note on the barracks door

*A note can be seen on the barracks doors, as you step closer you notice its being pinned to the door by a dagger with the sign of Kaldor on it. Then as you come to the door you notice that a covian cap is also pinned to the door. You read the note*

Dear Baron Octiovus
I, Lady Donwin, wish to resign from the forces of Cove. I have chosen in my own mind to join the forces of Kaldor. This may come as a shock to ye all but i feel it is the right thing to do.
    The next time we meet we will be enemies, but i will still hold a friendship with you all if you wish to hold it back.
     I wish ye all teh best of luck in the future and as for my sister, you can keep the stupid wench!!

*Mela walks past the note and eyes around. Pulls the dagger away with great difficulty and takes the cap. Whistles while walking on*

*Coma Walks into the Barracks and sees a note floating on the floor, She picks it up and begins to read it.

Sighing and tutting she takes the note and puts it under a stone on the table inside the barracks and wanders off again*

In a local Covian tavern, a man drinks alone at a corner table.

"Him's been sittin' there fer hours now", the tavernkeeper mutters to his wife. "He's nay stirred, but has already drunk nearly 'alf the stock we own."

If you looked upon him, your heart would most likely shrivel - for it seems this man has lost something dear to him. But with his sorrow, there lies also the feeling of betrayal. For Commander Eason, resigning from the Militia was one thing, but joining Cove's most hated Enemy, the Kaldorians, was another.

There would never be any forgiveness dealt to former Junior Guardsman Donwin; no compassion, no mercy.
As Gregor took another swig of his ale, he mumbled something...

"Traitor."

*Octiovus looked over the note with an arched brow.*

Well then, another outcast.. If she is caputured, oh how she'll regret it.. *Mutters darkly before returning to his paperwork..*

*looks at the note*

*looking at the note he recalls been left alone on the battle field.. giving a slight smirk slowly walking away*

*glances at the note while walking past then suddenly runs back and reads it*

*a man stoles past the covian barracks and notices a man in a Covian uniform sniggering to himself with his back turned "Are you alright?" says the man to the Covian, the Covian just rubs his hands together and flicks through his book, a picture of some flames can be seen on the pages over his shoulder, the man edges forwards cautiously "Excuse me sir, are you okay?", Still laughing quietly to himself the now elven covian turns sharply, a cold haze can be seen in his eyes, he smirks slightly and turns to walk away "Hey! where are you going?" says the man, "To the isle of the Serpant... let the hunt begin.." Said the Covian guardsman*

It seems that although the Knight Errant of the Hospitallers may not approve of Donwin's decision; he has spoken word of going to great lengths of protecting her, at whatever cost.
