When: Sunday, 8th October
Where: The central valley in Ilshenar

Led by: Garak Nightchill, Junior Guardsman Scout

Attended by:

Kal ShadowHand, Regular Scout
Mikaela, Guardsman Recruit
Raiden Morana, Grenadier Corporal

Having defeated the Jukan forces in Wrong in Stage One, slaughtered the Mistas Jukan garrison during Stage Two, it was time for Stage Three.   This involved travelling to the Honour moongate in Ilshenar.  We knew we would be outnumbered 50 to 1 but we had one thing the Jukan hordes didn't.  Swagger.  Covian swagger.

We went through a cave into a mining camp where some mechanical monstrosities and darkskinned redrobed mages made enslaved gargoyles mine ore.  We put the gargoyles out of their misery, smashed up the mechanical floating things and killed any redrobed mages we saw.  We headed south and decided to make sure the Gargoyle city was free from the Jukan scum.  It was and it seemed to be thriving.  Nice city too.

We then left and slaughtered a camp full of savages.  It may have been years and years since those savage painted people invaded Cove but by Avatar it will be years until we stop butchering them for it.  We looked for the Meer catacombs to see if they were still free from the Juka but we got lost decided that since they were rude to us in Lakeshire during Stage Two, they could bloody well rot for all we cared.

We then made some roaming sweeps near the fortress, killing patrols and sentries.  A large group of redrobed darkskinned mages attacked us, including one that had a golden sheen to him.  We got knocked and crawled off retreated tactically in good order, regrouping at the far cave.  We went back and killed this mage for nicking me pouch, knocking us down and not swaggering.  We made another sweep near the Fortress but they were too scared to come out, and it isn't until Stage Five of me campaign that we'll be besieging it.  So we went home.  We also saw some Covian Recruitment banners at the two moongates we used.  We never saw any Juka, they're obviously still reeling from Stages One and Two.  But we gave their allies a good Covian kicking.  Panda style.

Fine work Guardsmen, i couldn't agree more.
A little Grenadier Swagger is enough to take down an army of jukan scum.
