If you thought this, you would be wrong! Yes, wrong! A grenadier kills things of evil in his spare time! There's nothing the barons own likes more than to snuff out a lumbering evildoer, thus making the world a touch safer. This was no exception...
Our destination was a a temple in ilshnear, located on a desert island only reachable by travelling deep within the cave of the terethans.
So off we went! Through windswept fields, filled with magical pixies, to a dense forest, filled with creatures that have more legs than they ought to. Finally, we reched the cave and strutted right inside, saying a small prayer for anything foolish enough to cross our path...
Good luck you green bastards....you're going to need it!Deeper we went, until we came upon the passage that would lead us to the island.
Upon entering the said temple, all was quiet....Too quiet. Seems the winged spawn of the abyss had buggered off! After a quick search of the area, we found them, cowering on the roof. They'd obviously seen us coming and attempted to hide.
I do believe i saw a few of them crying, yes crying, out of pure fear!!!
They did get a bit more brazen as we engaged them though, apparently they thought they had the right to order us around!
Keep talking buddy, you'll be dead in a minuteAfter a rather rough battle, we prevailed, hacking off their grotesque heads, as a fine trophy for the grenadiers!
You were saying scum? *Stamps*Our job done, we headed back to the barracks, where we put the gold we had gathered into a 'Grenadier fund' to keep us in supplies and such, a little over 6000 gold coins. Another successful mission for the finest squad in Cove. Good job lads, That's Grenadier swagger for you.
