Rubbing his eyes wearily, Darath turned his attention to the file sitting on his desk marked ‘Flina Trix’. He opened it somewhat slowly, half knowing what he was he was about to read. It was as expected, Flina required her Watchman Trials. Already. Darath murmured darkly “This bloody Guardsman is increasing my paper work ten fold!”. Scratching his face a moment, a wry grin slid across his face. “Two birds with one stone, let’s see how she handles his…”

Greetings Watchman Trix. Your rise through the ranks has been fast, for lack of a better word. But that was the easy part. Despite what the Dragoon say, self belief and fighting skills will only get you so far in this army. These trials will test you cunning, guile and leadership. Do you have what it takes? It remains to be seen.

Assignments:

1.   Led a few trusted Guardsmen in a disguised attack on a Covian garrison. You must pose a guerrilla group of Loyalist operating in the North. The aim here is to make the group known to the Yewish Guardsmen Milita. A report must then be written, talking up this loyalist rebel outfit. Attempt to get this report posted in ‘Ye Sosarian Morning Poste’ for maximum coverage.
2.   Approach the township of Stonekeep, posing as the leader of this Loyalist guerrilla movement, requesting a delivery of arms to help your cause. Arrange for the delivery of 50 weapons units to a specific location in the North, viable for an ambush. Report on the success of the mission.
3.   Plan and lead the attack on the escorted arms caravan. Carry out this skirmish with maximum effectiveness and commandeered weapons for the Covian armoury. Report on the success of the mission.
4.   Write a short summery report that can be pinned everywhere, to demonstrate the skill of the free North and the foolishness of the Loyalist South! Attempt to get this report posted ‘Ye Sosarian Morning Poste’.

Conditions

•   Choose 2 Guardsmen to lead in the disguised attack and escort you to Stonekeep. Only these two, you and Army Command must know the extent of the mission until the attack on the delivery. The majority of Covian Guardsmen must believe that this guerrilla group is for real, as to maximise the effectiveness of the campaign.
•   You must create a believable back story for the Guerrilla movement and ensure that the trusted Guardsmen know it well. This must include: the name of the group, where it is based and how many members it has among other details.
•   An attack group of at least 6 Guardsmen (including those posing as guerrillas) must be mobilised against the Yewish convoy.
•   4 reports must be written in total.
•   Approach mission leader Darath Mithar with any questions.

Darath sir, the details have been worked out. I have a copy of the guerrilla background below along side the name and founder.

Guerrilla Name: The Southern Loyalist Front (The SLF)

Story behind them:
Because of the war more and more food and supplies were ordered from the village however the prices that the rebels were paying were really low and they often missed payments with empty promises of getting the pay to them paid double.
Because they weren't being paid some family's became homeless and some people even starved to death, Aaron got got angry and along side his two advisers mustered up a citizen 'army'of around 20 soldiers.

Numbers: They have around 20 in Numbers and are growing rapidly.

Reason for the request of weapons:
I thought up a reason to request for weapons. Because the guerrilla was basically started by a poor bunch of nobodies their army's weapons are basically only pitchforks and badly made bows.

Background: Grew up in Cove as the son of Tim Charad, he trained with his father in blacksmithing.
Lived in Cove all his life and never really traveled, except on the occasion when he went to Minoc to buy more iron.
He married a girl named Nina and had a daughter named Darla. Darla died of starvation and Nina is in the healers.

Personality: Gruff & Hateful would do anything to get rid of the Covian army.

I will be playing as Aaron, as the leader of the group.

Personality's: Both are like unofficial brothers, dumb as muck they follow Aaron blindly and would throttle anyone who rebelled against him.

Stage one - Attack on Cove

After pulling together a poor looking uniform me Vince and Hoagie head up to the abandoned light house and dressed up.
I briefed them on what we were going to do and soon we set off through Cove and towards the barracks.

Only Desmond Kreiger and Conan were around but we still managed to kick up a fuss.

I explained who I was (Aaron) and why were were here. I threw accusations at them and was a general pain in the bum. I even threatened to kill them!

Eventually we charged them and gave em both a knock on the head (even with our really poorly made weapons) and they were begging for their lives! Conan even started confessing his love for me to Aaron which was....interesting.
Eventually Tsugi emerged from the building but as shes only a barmaid I didn't want to hurt her HOWEVER to make it look less suspicious we chased her away as if we were going to hurt her.
Tomorrow I will be taking the boys to Stonekeep and trying to get them to transport a caravan of weapons up.

Stage 2 - Traveling to Stonekeep

After Raidens training, me Hoagie and Vince head up to the light house and changed into our SLF uniforms!
After briefing them we made our way to Yew and holding our 'weapons' (a club, a pitchfork and a skinning knife) we began talking to a waywatcher named Floria.
It didn't take much for us to get inside their 'hall' and start talking about what we needed though they were a bit shocked about the size of our group.
After many comments about how stupid we were Leo madsen decided that they would help us with  the weapons and will be sending a caravan with 50 weapons (different kinds) to the teleporter arch (Near the Hospitallars base) and this is where we will strike!

I'll tell you now,  the results of the attack were not too good however! As I said in my 'speech' to the men "They may have won the battle, but we damn well won the war!".
They were obviously suspicious of us from the beginning although we left no proof as to who we were, as once we finally got the cargo from the packhorse it was a great wad of cabbages.
The general fight was messy though we were outnumbered, and out poisoned for that matter.
Not much else to say except that we didn't loose any soldiers, though everyone was injured in some way or another.
