The message is smudged here and there with streaks from sooty fingers...

Last night I was awoken by the intense heat inside my home. Sittin up in bed I saw a bright orange glow comin from the downstairs forge. Jumpin up I rushed over to the ladder and stuck my head down over the edge and peeked into my smithy. The far wall was engulfed in flames! Not wasting a moment I began throwing things out the windows and off the balcony. Having tossed everything of value from my living quarters, I plunged down the ladder into my forge. Skirting the inside wall, I made my way to the front gate and threw the doors wide. Grabbing a bucket I stumbled to a rain barrel on the side of my home and began dousing the nearest flames. My little bucket did little good however, and the flames all but gutted my home in a short while. Were it not for a sudden burst of rain from clouds coming down off the nearby mountains, my house would've burnt right to the ground. As the rain began to douse the flames I renewed my attack with the bucket. After a bit the fire was snuffed out.

Most of the morning I spent collectin my belongings scattered about the area around the house. Got to thinkin that maybe the fire was set on purpose... so I donned some armor and belted on my sword. Better safe than sorry after all...  Eve showed up in the afternoon lookin to have some armor repaired, and was kind enough to lend a hand cleaning up the debris.

Plan to rebuild outta stone from the hills. Gonna take more than a little fire to stop me.

Please accept meh deepest sympathy, it's always terrible to see the fire taking your life's earnings.

But the most important is, that you didn't get hurt and kept yer life!

Sincerely,
Qom Riyadh

When I arrived at the scene, I could not possibly of left ye to all that clearing up by yerself, like I said to ye before, if ye need some coins to pay for anything regarding it's repair, I can spare some.
