This was to be our second outing to gather resources for our fine town.
Our destination this time was a large open field just a ways from the shrine of spirituality in Ilshnear. Here, there were many trees and rocky...umm...things, just perfect for mining. We had a good group of guardsmen to protect us, so our first job was to secure a camp. And what a camp it was! It even had it's own little table and stools...
Impressive, no?With our camp safely up and running, we began our work. Mister Amon and myself decided we'd try our hand at mining, and were assigned a guardsman each for protection. Xander accompanied Amon, and Eve accompanied me. Meanwhile, Teagan decided to see what kind of wood she could harvest from the nearby forests.
Whilst we were alone, Eve and I decided we'd have a girly chat, about...well, never you mind! *Winks*
*Whisper Whisper*After a few hours of mining the rugged stone, we decided a break was in order, so we headed back and met up with Amon and Xander. Luckily, Amon was well prepared, pulling out a nice bottle of ale which kept the cold at bay.
By this time, the hour was becoming late, and dusk was upon us, so we decided that we'd make our way back home before it got pitch black!
Mister Nightchill was kind enough to open a magical portal to take us home, which saved alot of walking. A good job too, as we'd worked hard, and harvested enough ore and wood to keep Cove going for a good while yet. Well done everybody!
