Ingraving Tools

What can be ingraved? Anything? Plates, forks, weapons, armours, boots?

Wondering what can be ingraved with texts and what can not. Not sure what's easier to list, does anyone know?

Containers only
 - wooden
 - metal
 - leather

edit: I've heard also about a weapon engraver, which could have been obtained from NPC tinkers, but haven't seen one.

The weapon ingraving tool is an 8th veteran reward.
They come with 10 uses but then have to be "recharged" by a tinker with a diamond.

Other than that :
food decoration tool - all crafted food items
wood container ingraving tool - all wooden containers
leather ingraving tool - all leather containers
metal ingraving tool - all metal containers
spellbook ingraving tool - all rune/spellbooks

An armour ingraving tool has not been "invented" yet.

So we can't ingrave mugs and cups? That sucks! They should introduce a tool that can ingrave everything. And armour things as well

About some mad amount of Mil if you get some Gems and you ask Grak nicely he may ingrave your weapon or weapons for you.

I think there's three engraved artifacts in Cove.

Yewbane - Diamond Mace in possession of Kurt Alimar.
Chaos Mace - Diamond Mace in possession of Vince Redfield.
Wytchbane - Longsword in possession of Roland Dagorian.

They're all engraved with the words and that's all that is different about them.  There might be more but I haven't heard of any other engraved weapons.  Once I get back IG I have a mule that's pretty good at tinkering and might be able to help, I think it was Garak Nightchill recharge his weapon engraver.

There are also the Engraved Lances from the Jousting competion a while back... I think Garak hosted it.. (maybe??) anyway... I do hear the gems for the Weapon engraver are quite exspensive.

Gems arn;t realy that expensive can aways go hunting onan alt in my case i just buy them as have no arti players, i gave garak like 20 or something when it takes just one gem to completely recharge the tool

I have a tool, its recharged by blue diamonds (i think, I've still got some left).  As has been mentioned, I've engraved several weapons, including the lances, bows and the golden axe given out as prizes from my tourney.  One lance is in the Dragoon hall, the other is in one of the Scout buildings I think.

I reckon we should keep it like that (engravings being done by command)?
Otherwise everyone'll be running around with weapons saying "Grd B@sH3r d3LuX3" soon.
