My apprentice, James had returned from a short stint on leave ready for the challenge ahead. He wanted to learn the art of shieldfighting and who better to learn from than a Grenadier!
After a little theory on how to use a shield in combat we got down to the nitty gritty. Me trying to hit him and him trying to get his shield in the way! Haha!
I couldn't believe my eyes as Chaffers stepped from the shadows. I'd nay seen him in a while and he was more than happy to help.
A few splintered shields and bruises later we called it a night with James noticeably better with a shield than before.
