Night watch is a duty with unique peculiarities. The most important part of night watch duty is staying awake. Best way to stay awake is to keep moving.
Night is the favored time for thieves and smugglers. I make it a point to check all the Covian homes to see that they are locked and secured from any possible intrusion. After securing the buildings, I make a round of the docks and shorelines to search for any possible smuggling of contraband.
Though all good creatures should be asleep at night, there are some devious beings that roam at night, such as brigands and monsters.
