Raiden looked up from his paperwork as the door swung open. Standing before him with a bow slung over his shoulder was a Grenadier caked in dust from many days on the road. Raiden looked back to the reports for a moment before eyeing the man again.
"I have a new assignment for you lad. The Baron wants someone to carry out late night duties... The Night Watch!"
The Junior Grenadier nodded to his Sergeant without a word.
"The Baron and I think it only fitting that the responsibility for this important duty should fall to the Grenadiers and you have been put forward."
"Yes Sir." The Junior nodded again.
"Grand! See to it at once. Dismissed!"
The Junior saluted his Sergeant sharply and trudged towards the door.
"Oh... Tyrael..."
"Yes Sir?"
"Welcome back lad!" Raiden grinned.
"Thanks Sarge." Tyrael gave a wry smile before closing the door behind him.
