Love is a thing of the past
now it is mostly money and credit
the nice guy comes in last
but all people look at is there Debit

Love has died
it is no longer here
Trampled by lies
killed like deer

the only love left today
comes from the cross
for it will never decay
not like the teeth you floss

It lays immortal in my soal
Along with in the church
it holds no toll
it only holds a perch.
