Attention Arcanists

Arcanists,

As was mentioned yesterday evening, all Arcanists under the employ of the Baron of Cove, and all arcane allies who frequent Covian Territory art hereby summoned to make themselves known and be branded as Arcanists should they wish not to be mistaken for wytches in future.

Beginning tomorrow eve', a one week period shalt be granted for all individuals practicing arcane arts to come forth of thy own accord. Unbranded persons found to be practicing these arts after next Wednesday shalt be arrested, questioned, and granted they do not reveal themselves to be Wytches, shalt be restrained whilst the brand is applied.

Resistance shalt be met with force, and those who deny the brand shalt be denounced as wytches. If thou hath nothing to hide, thou hath nothing to fear...

Town records reveal the following individuals must be branded:

• Watchman Bardicous
• Watchman Dah'Han
• Recruit Faxon
• Recruit Henrich Kelmer
• Recruit Owen Bostan
• Citizen Alexis
• Citizen Amon Jarl
• Citizen C'lil Dynbight
• Citizen Khaelieth

Other individuals art suspected of practicing the arcane arts but hath yet to have judgement made upon them. All honest Avatarians shalt hath nothing to fear, and regardless of not being named above shalt come forth of thy own accord, ready to accept the brand.

I hath noticed a great many of thee, whilst not Arcanists, art familiar with a spell which doth allow thee to move from one place to another instantly...

ALL Arcanists and 'Recall' users (Including those who use scrolls/runebook charges) art also hereby required to step forth for branding.

Within a few weeks time, unbranded casters shalt be deemed wytches, unless they canst provide proof of their innocence.

The following individuals hath not come forth of their own accord within the allocated time period:

• Citizen C'lil Dynbight
• Citizen Khaelieth

Until further notice, all individuals listed above art to be arrested on sight immediately on grounds of suspected wytchcraft and detained until an Officer is contacted, who shalt in-turn inform the Church. Shouldst these individuals comply with orders and willingly agree to be branded as Arcanists, no harm shalt come to them. Those who resist shalt be detained further and await dire consequences.

Futhermore, all individuals who art familiar with the spell known as 'Recall' from this point on shouldst also be arrested on sight, as the same applies to them. Anyone believed to be assisting these temporary criminals in their avoidance of the Lord shalt not have their lives spared.

Resistance WILL be met with judgement!
