Led by:
Templi Initiate Roland Dagorian.

Attended by:
Templar Preceptor Siegfried.
Templi Squire Michael Vandrik.
Sergeant Hoagie.
Regular Guardsman Kas Valentine.
Junior Grenadier Marcus Tel'Var.
Guardsman Recruit Taybard Jaekel.

This evening the representatives of the Church, led in the footsteps of the Avatar, saw it fit to teach a collection of guardsmen in the ways and means of cleansing the acts of the Guardian. We began with a thorough training session on the roof of the barracks and quickly progressed to an armed journey towards the local graveyard.

We were informed by Father Siegfried Friar Dagorian of an expectation towards facing vile twisted creatures versed in the arcane, and he was not mistaken. The gates clanged open and spilled forth a tide of foul beings mere moments after our arrival. Thankfully we were able to defeat them with the aid of our blessed company.

As our men proceeded into the area the minions of the Guardian rose up to repell us but with the Church at our side we were able to defeat them. Under direct orders from the Father Friar we burned and cut down their numbers until nothing remained but ghostly wisps of air.

Deeming our expedition a resounding success we were instructed to return to the barracks and produce the spoils of our mission. A sum of two thousand coins was presented to the Avatar and the attending Covian's dismissed.

May the silence of the dead continue indefinitely.

Signed in extremely neat handwriting,
Regular Guardsman Kas Valentine.

Arcanist,

T'wouldst be worthy of note that it was Friar Dagorian who educated thy men on the hexes of wytchcraft. Also, that no Templi below the post of Templar hath earnt the title 'Father'.
