Peace talks were held this eve at Castle Blackthorn. Delegates from Cove, Yew, Skara Brae, Vesper and the elves attended the meeting chaired by Duke Irvyn of Trinsic.
After lengthy discussion, claim and counter claim plus a liberal dose of insults those present agreed in principle to terms for a continued ceasefire for the border wars conflict.
Some of the dialogue from the talks.The terms agreed upon are as follows:
Minoc is to become a neutral/demilitarised zone.No-one may bear arms in the town and a local Minocian militia will be raised to enforce law and order.
Those implicated in the murders at the mill to be arrested.Vesper agrees to hand over Kiran and his associates to the Guardsman Militia while Covian suspects are to be arrested and tried before an inter-city court.
Loyalist forces to retreat.Loyalist forces will fall back from the Altmere to the crossroads and a new highway to Minoc is to be constructed from there around the Avarice/Covetous mountains into the town.
Altmere province in dispute.Edmund Fairholm and the Britannia Guards have laid claim to the Covian province the Altmere even though other Loyalist forces have retreated to the crossroads. Surely Fairholm can be
"persuaded" to give it back.
