*Letter left on the commander's desk in his office at the Grenadier Hall*

Dear Sir;

With everything that has gone on the last few days I have not been able to inform you that I have in custody, One Eric Goldeye.  His charges are as follows as I know them:

-   Armed Assault on the barmaid Railen of Vesper (Took place on covian soil near the barracks)
-   Attempted murder of same said person
-   Breaking and Entering (Grenadier Takeamada’s Home)
-   Destruction of private property (4 counts A Grenadiers Home)
-   Armed Assault on a Covian Commoner (Kiko Takamura-Cousin to Grenadier Takeamada)
-   Kidnapping (Kiko Takamura)
-   Attempted murder of same said person
-   Conspiracy to conduct Criminal actions with in the confines of Cove and its protected area
-   Extortion (Demanding gold for the return of Kiko Takeamura)
-   Illegal use of weapons (The Cross bow used I both attacks violation of civilian rules 2 counts)
-   Threats of bodily harm

And if because Kiko is the cousin of a Grenadier, not sure if protective status would cover her also, Or the fact the home was owned by a Grenadier, then the law of assault on a Grenadier would apply in one or both parts!

Mister Goldeye is currently in custody in jail at the Grenadier Hall Maximum security cells.  I await your orders on what to do with said individual!

P.S.

Sir as I explained to Senior Grenadier Eve, who allowed me to take leave from the army to peruse this person(s), the reason for the lack of a uniform was to allow me to move more freely to find the criminals without interference from other guard forces as I crossed over line of jurisdiction and not to dishonor the Army, the Grenadiers, Cove, or the Baron if I should snap and take matters into my own hands!  My thoughts in this matter was to return my cousin alive and without Hurting Cove!

(OOC:  This was a personal letter to the commander and is posted here for the enjoyment of others and should not be used as in game information unless given access to it....Thank you)

*Raiden mutters as he opens the envelope*

"Another bloody letter! Will this paperwork never cease!?"

*He then reads over the letter and grabs a quill to reply*

Regular Grenadier Takeamada,

Keep the accused detained. If at all possible arrange for him to be moved to the barracks cell block where a closer eye may be kept on him.

I shall inform the Baronship Council and a trial date will be set forthwith.

I shall present you with the reward for Kiko's safe return at Sunday's parade when I have had time to clear the funds from the Baronship's coffers.

As a side note; I understand your reasons for not wishing to don your uniform whilst conducting your enquiries across the border. However wearing your disguise on our own soil could have seen ye struck down as an insurgent.

Good work Grenadier.

*Having been passed the report by the Commander, the Templar reads it sternly, resting his elbow on the table, and his fingers under his nose. Inhaling deeply, he hands the report back and glances up from his desk.*

Provided the Grenadier canst swear on oath that what he says is truth, I shalt make arrangements for a hanging. Keep the knave under watch; and if he hath not been moved already, keep him where he is. We shalt escort him to the noose at the date of his hanging which I hath yet to decide... Let us get one trial out of the way first, Commander.
