Ha, I've been thinking about uo loads recently. I miss the true meaning of a mmorpg, community and sandbox'y type game.

I sometimes play Warhammer Online but it lags like a bitach, so I tend to play on my xbox. Recently I've been ankle deep in college course work.

I wrote a blog about why I left UO last year and I've just looked at it again, it basically said the game didn't match existing gaming standards. Thats still true, I didn't like the idea that having a house keeps people paying subscription fees.

after all being said I am still interested in playing again, I miss cove and the adventures and knowing that money meant jack poo when you have friends to play with

However BoC does have a downside and thats repetitive goals to achieve a higher rank, I know its not the end of the world but it wasn't too exciting.

Ahh. War? We aren't in any wars. . though we aught to be. Coves still grand. The Baron's in his own country for once. Shadwell and Eason are both senile but still walking. . .  amazingly.
Theres more drow activity than I remeber, crimes back on the rise. We've atleast one unsolved murder (and I don't think it ever will be) Kas Valentine that peacock has been tried along with Keres for the murder of a recruit. Well the verdict was not guilty but the yewlanders are hardly rational and kidnaped poor Kas! Yewish church has gone mad but Coves got its own back with more vigour than ever.  Oh Kelly Valensandershine and her once dead husband are also on second honeymoon. Other than that, Sargeant Hoags still questionably a manluber and beards are still in high fashion!! Whats not to love?

I think thats the synopsis of whats been up in Cove! And incase you nay know me. . .GET THINE ARSE IN GAME and find out!

Is the scouts division dead, there hasn't been any activity in there for months?

Kal keeps it what it is, had some Isaac Allen fellow for a minute, but Kal's as back as he can be! I think Drachir is also around abouts. Other than that. . . the scouts are all MIA. Hell half of Coves MIA or KIA after this last war! We need more meat sheild! Otherwise their gonna target us Juniors!! <.<;;  ;;>.>   We ish doomded!

The forums were offline for several days due to problems with the server it is hosted on.

The web site will also be brought up to date soon with the recent guild changes.

The guild is very much alive and kicking matey, if anything it is more active than it has been for some good time.

I've come back to UO. Logged in the other day I was thinking... what should I do, no one was around. I've seen quite a few DoC'ers kicking around so I see we are still active.

I finished playing last April, what have I missed?

Out of character of course, what do you think will happen in 2009? I want to know we'll have some massive campaigns like the one we had against Yew.
