Junior Duty ~ The Wages of Sin

Deep in the mountains of Avarice, at the very deepest point of the mines of Covetous, there is an underground keep. Recent expeditions to the Keep of Avarice (as I’ve come to call it) have brought back reports of a sizeable population of undead, including dozens of liches. The last expedition managed to breach the throne room and gain access to a deeper part of the caverns, only to be thrown back by a huge, seemingly invulnerable Dragon. Though few of the members of these expeditions have survived, they’ve brought back incredible riches…

Journey to the lowest level of the Covetous mines, the Keep the Avarice, and venture into the keep.
Take a Grenadier, as you will likely need to blast doors open, as well as burn the desecrated Shrine in the west wing of the Keep.
At least Four Guardsmen must attend this expedition.
At least 15,000 gold coins must be collected.
This must be led by a Junior Guardsman  and may be completed multiple times.

Sergeant’s Notes: This is not a place to mess around in. Keep your healing tight, your helmets on, and your shields raised. Only death awaits those that venture into the caverns below the Throne Room.

- Any Guardsman whose expedition finds a way to slay the Dragon in the lowest level will receive a Command Task in addition to the Board Task for completeing this Duty.
- The expedition should attempt to reveal more about the circumstances surrounding the corruption of the Keep.
