"Grandmother's Trunk," (Or Buttons Trunk or Hoagies Trunk etc) where one guest begins: "My Grandmother keeps (a word beginning with 'a') in her/His trunk." The next player continues: "My Grandmother keeps (the 'a' word) and (another with 'b') in her trunk," and so on, the list growing as the sentence continued around, making it a memory as well as alphabet game. -- and, the faster the game is played, the easier it is to fumble... and forfeit.

UP JENKINS
PLAYERS
At least six
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Table or counter, a coin.
THE OBJECT
To guess which player has the coin.
HOW TO PLAY
Two teams sit opposite each other at a table. One team takes a small coin and passes it (or pretends to pass it) under the table. The other team, meanwhile, tries to discern which player has the coin. At any time, the captain of the observing team can call out, “Up Jenkins.” At this point, the members of the coin-passing team must raise their closed fists above the table. The observing captain then says, “Down Jenkins,” and the players slap their hands palms down on the table. The observers get one chance to guess which player has the coin. If they guess right, they get the coin. If they fail, it stays with the other team. Award a point for every successful deception.
TIP
When you bring down your palms, hit the table with a loud smack to cover up the sound of the coin.

Odd or Even
Each player holds 10 goldcoin. A player puts any amount of those coins in one hand, chooses an opponent, holds out his clenched fist to that opponent and asks 'Odd or Even?' If the opponent guesses correctly he receives a coin. If he guesses incorrectly he must give a coin to the opponent who just challenged him. These two players then reverse roles, going through the same challenge. Next, the two players split up and seek new opponents.

Change Seats!
This is a great game to play when the tavern is full and all seats taken.
All but one person sits in a chair. The person in the "middle" asks someone in the circle "Do you love your neighbor?" The person selected then has to state either "No." at which point the people in the chairs on each side of him/her have to change seats QUICKLY. If they aren't quick enough, the person in the middle may slip into one of the vacated seats, making the unseated neighbor it. The chosen person may instead answer, "Yes, I love my neighbor, except those who (fill in the blank....are wearing blue, or have brown hair, or practice wytchery, etc) Everyone who fits the description (ie is wearing blue for example) has to jump up and change seats, while the person in the middle tries to steal one. The person left standing has to ask another person if he/she loves his/her neighbor, beginning a new round.

Ah, something more refined than bare breasted barmaids indulging in games that require them to remove further clothing, excellent!
