Appearance: Tall and slender man in his early twenties with expression of boredom on his face. His body has well-developed muscles, that seem to be developed by purposeful training, not by hard manual labour. He has dark short straight hairs, short neat beard, clear-cut face features, fair complexion, straight nose and warm green eyes.

There is a bolt scar on his left shoulder and another one on his left hip. On his left bicep there's an "A" brand.

Background: Bersi's mother is a barmaid from the small inn in Covianshire's village. He was raised along with two elder brothers and one younger sister. His mother isn't sure who is Bersi's father, cause there were a lot of attractive adventurers passing by through the inn. She tends to say, that it was a noble from Baronship Household, but with the same succes it could be a lumberman or swineherd from neighboring provinces. Bersi prefers to think that he is the bastard son of a noble man. His mother cared a lot for him and despite all circumstances he enjoyed a happy and fine childhood. Being almost useless in combat arts he showed a small talent for magery. He feared it at first, but, eventually, was overcome by curiosity and started practicing it secretly. Somehow, villagers learned about it and Bersi was given a choise either to become an outcast or to be burned at the stake. That's why at the age of seventeen Bersi travelled to the New Haven and started a life of mage's apprentice. He studied calligraphy and was paying for his study by making low-rate scrolls. Time passed and he decided to return to his homeland. Upon returning, he joined Covian Army with intention to earn the Arcanist brand as it is essential for his returning to his village.

Personality: Bersi isn't very talkative and a bit cynical when it comes to religion. He can be spiteful and clearly enjoys violence. He is a liitle bit undisciplined and doesn't think that he should be. He despises non-humans and weaklings. He has his own code of honor, and luckly for his fellows, betrayal is prohibited there.

Military Career:

War of the Great Combine (Summer 2009)
Bersi managed to survive the war being a mere guardsman recruit. At that time he wasn't able to use any high-circle spells, so it was a bit tricky to survive but somehow with the help of Senior Arcanist Kas Valentine and Junior Arcanist Thomas Aylmer he managed to stay alive after all the battles. After the last battle Bersi decided to pay much more attantion to his studies and started progressing in the art of magery.
Enforcement of the Trinsic Ceasefire (October 2009)
Attended battles in Minoc in the rank of Junior Guardsman. Bersi was in the group of arcanists providing firepower and support to other guardsmen.
