Madeline or Maddy as most know her by found herself one day in the forest near Trinsic, with a rather large bump to her head, and no memory of her past save a rather extensive knowledge of healing and herbs. She stumbled into town with only the clothes on her back and her name to...well...her name. There she met a Knight named Athos who tried to help her find her past, to no avail. He gave her a home in Tel'mar with the Knights of Virtue, and there she studied and began training as a Knight.

One day she woke to find she was the last living soul yet in Tel'mar, the others having gone on long journeys in distant lands. She returned to the only place she really knew, Trinsic. There she worked as a healer, delivering babies, including eventually two of her own, into the world and selling soaps, teas, unguents and salves at Markets upon occasion,  treating those who come across her path with injuries.

Her friends Adam and Alruane took her one evening to Vesper, to play a game called "Twisted Dare." Enjoying a good game, and too stubborn to be outdone, she attempted to best Van Cocidius in a drinking match...and after several pint sized shots of rum she found herself swooning over him. In an election the following morning with a hung over pair, Van was named Baron of Vesper. The next couple of weeks were a blur...mostly from the strong drink she was unused to. The new Baron asked her to be his bride and she accepted. The two were wed in a ceremony that nearly ended their marriage before it began...from Van's near coronary experience during the binding ritual.

Maddy has taken on several Medical students in Cove. She has followed Van in his search to find a place he can put his skills and talents to good use. Together with their 2 children, Dante and Ember, and their housekeeper Tilly, they hope to begin life anew in a new town, perhaps starting a spa and healing center for the people of cove to recuperate from their numerous injures after release from Hospital, an apothecary for the good people of Cove to purchase items needed for good health, and perhaps earn a few shillings fletching Bolts and Arrows here and there.
