Republic Redemption Festival and Elections 20th - 22nd September

The Republic of Vesper welcomes you to attend its Republic Redemption Festival!
Celebrating 10 years of Independancy as a Republic and 11 years of its military forces!
Come along and enjoy 3 days of events that represent the various aspects of Vesper!
On the last day there will also be the Chancellor elections!

Each day we will gather at the same location where most of the festival activities will be taking place around, see map below:



[SIZE="4"]Sunday 20th September[/SIZE]

Starting from 7:30pm UK Time, to kick off the first day there will be a number of events taking place throughout the night. These are as follows:

[COLOR="Red"]Military Parade[/COLOR] - Representing the armed forces of Vesper.

[COLOR="Red"]Market and Bar[/COLOR] - Representing the trade in Vesper.

[COLOR="Red"]Vodka and Stool Races[/COLOR] - Representing the drinking culture in Vesper.

[COLOR="Red"]Summoning Duels[/COLOR] - Representing the magic culture in Vesper.


[SIZE="4"]Monday 21st September[/SIZE]

Starting from 8pm UK Time, the second day of the festival will see two events!

[COLOR="Red"]The Ostard Race[/COLOR] - Representing the legend of Greenie

Contestants will race around this course mounted upon ostards:



[COLOR="Red"]The Boat Race[/COLOR] - Representing Vesper as a port city.

Crews of 3 or more will sail around the waterways of Vesper on this set track:



!All boats must be small in class!

At the end of it all there will be a bar set up on the docks for some rest and relaxation.


[SIZE="4"]Tuesday 22nd September[/SIZE]

Starting from 8pm UK time, the last day of the Republic Redemption Festival will see:

[COLOR="Red"]Golem Wars[/COLOR] - Representing the technology in Vesper.

Contestants will pit golems against eachother in a knockout tournament! Golems can be purchased on the day for 5,000 coins each!

And to finish it off there will be the [COLOR="Red"]Chancellor Elections[/COLOR]!!!

[SIZE="4"]Election Details[/SIZE]

6 months has passed and its time for the elections once more!
As with all elections ANYONE can run for Chancellor bar the banned races from the Republic.
Only Republic citizens, allies of the Republic and traders with voting papers may vote.

Voting Papers
Non Vesparian citizens who trade with the Republic are applicable for voting papers allowing them to vote. They will need to prove their deeds however.
If you wish to obtain voting papers then speak to either Chancellor Escaflowne or Marshall Bedford.

Campaigning

All candidates will have from now up until the elections to campaign for yourselves. You will also be allowed to campaign throughout the festival!
