Watchman Trial - Keane Wakefield.

So he still believes he has what it takes to be a Scout. Well he has to become a Junior yet.

Task One - Leadership Qualities.

Now you are heading to Junior rank, you will have more responsibilities for those ranked lower.  So we will see how well you can act under stressful conditions.

You are to lead a patrol that starts from the virtue shrine Honesty and ends at the virtue shrine of Valor.

• You must have at least 6 other guardsmen with you.
• You may not use any other shrine to get from one place to another.
• Make a full report and explain the route taken (not just a load of pictures).

Task two - Camping out

Being able to survive out in the wilderness for several days is a useful skill to have. 

Find two other Scout Potentials and make a camp in the woods South east of Cove and spend a night there.

• You may only have scout potentials with you.
• Time your camping well to use UO daylight to make the camp and a UO night to stay there.
• The camp must be made of crates, and include other items necessary for spending a night in the open.
• Make a report below

Task three - Recruitment

Cove is always in need of new recruits as so many do not make it much past Watchmen.

Run some form of inspiring recruitment, either holding a stall, a parade or other event. 

• Make it fun and interesting for those involved.
• You may also do a cross-shard recruitment - use your imagination.
• Report your efforts

Report:
           I called for all recruits to report to the barracks. I had a good turn out as six came in attendance initially. I explained the task you had given me. We forced it to the Minoc moongate and started our patrol in Honor. I called for another line, they did well listening to orders. I explained that we needed to stay together and no running off. With that said we started our patrol of illshinar. Along the way to Valor we ran into some interesting monsters and creatures. Some monsters that we almost supernatural compared to others. Along the way we came across a building. It was filled with guardian "like" items though out. I asked Darek to throw one of his bottles into the building then we continued on.  Making our way through the thick forest until we came along a path. I decided we would follow the path as we would probably get the least resistance on a highly traveled road. I was right until we reached the bridge. Liches everywhere. We formed and made our attack onto the lich. They put up a heavy fight doing massage damage to some. We managed to get the upper hand. Durring the attack a bystander decided he wanted to help us fight. While fighting he managed to drop his stuff. We helped him retrieve his stuff. Moving on, We kept on the path until it was time to break back into the forest. We came across a healer's hut. I then gave him a recruitment flyer. He didn't seem interested. At that point we had almost made it to the Valor Shrine. We forced it the rest of the way there without much resistance. We forced it back to the barracks from the Minoc moongate. We counted our gold. The group all agreed to put it in the coffers. I thanked them for coming along and for their time. Dismissed! No major injuries reported.

Report as followed,

    I made sure we all had what we would need before we set off. Katryn shot her mouth off about how strong she was until she tried to pick up the supplies. Sisters...Anyways, We carried what we needed until we found a decent clearing for us to set up camp. I had the guardsman start to cut away at the trees and getting hides. I stayed back and begun to set up the camp site. Me'an came back saying he was being tracked. I alerted the guardsman to keep an eye open and to get the camp set up and secured as soon as possible. A Covian citizen ran by at some point. We did manage to secured our camp before night fall.  We begun to set up our bedrolls, when a shrouded figure appeared and started attacking the group. We ran after him but the individual was able to sneak away. It was not Me'an screaming "Revolution" as he was with me when it happened. We went back to camp to make sure it was still secure. The shrouded individual attacked a couple more times before leaving us alone. Not sure who it was, or what their intentions was. At this point everyone was on edge. Kal Shadowhand walked up to camp when Katryn decided to attack him. Kal was not upset but she did manage to put a hurt on him.  She didn't see his face and over reacted. I lectured my sister on making sure whom and what it is before ye attack. Katryn and Vaughn Took a quick nap while Me'an and myself kept an eye out. At some point Hoagies daughter appeared. We invited her in to take refuge. Upon Daylight we tore down the camp and headed back to cove. I dismissed the group shortly after arrival in town.

By your sketches your campsite looks very functional and well made, you have exceeded my expectations there.  Well done on defending your camp.  I am not sure Katryn is a Scout Potential but as she is your sister I will make an allowance for that.

Report as followed,
     I rounded up the men (and women), Off to Haven we went. We made sure that Cove's colors everywhere throughout the town. Some how we managed to get some of the people around town to help us recruit. I am not sure how we managed that. I decided to have a stall set up with recruitment books out. Kal was there to test the recruits. We did manage to get two. Unfortunately one disappeared when it was his turn to take his oath. So one is a good start!
