From personal experience hiding needs to be approximately 80. The ol' hiding on the run is great, and you need to be a certain amount of tiles away from your attacker to do so.

And I don't have a problem with people hiding without high hiding skill, Maccen. Anyone can jump in a bush and lay low.

I just think you should hike up the skill if you're going to use it in conjunction with stealth. Feels cheap otherwise, imo.

Aye, it makes things a lot easier. One of my stealth/fencer/poisoners had something like 80 hiding and 75 stealth which meant normally he'd be able to hide when he was being attacked. Don't hide unless you're in a forest or cave though; doing it out in the open, much like stealthing, is extremely taintish.

Basicly a standard archer/stealther template with one exception, you can use smokebombs and mirror image.

Now if you dont want the perk of smokebombs then...

Its just a rough draft of my template, but its similar to Declans and I like it.

I read that having anatomy and tactic above gm for an archer is pointless.

Archers gain damage just as much as other warriors with more than gm tact/anat. If theres room its worth it.

You can track almost everyone in the game with JOAT because that's another skill EA have royally fecked up , it doesn't mean you should do so in fact, again, back in the Rbl scenario both Grd and Rbl agreed to not exploit tracking and put a ban on the use of the skill (unless, of course, people were actively training it higher) as there was in the Crossroads of Yew community.

I wish this was the case in the new ROE.

Passive regen.

I spam pretty much constant concussions with Med and Focus.

If it was a waste I'd agree with you, however your statement is a crime against stealth-archers.

Focus and Meditation works roughly like this, (there has been slight changes to them but they are atm unknown to me)

Focus = 1 StamReg per 10% skill and 1 ManaReg per 20% skill.

Meditation = Passively 1 ManaReg per 10% skill, Actively Meditating = 2 ManaReg per 10% skill.

You cannot passively meditate in armor that you cannot actively meditate in.

1 Manaregen = 0.1 Mana point regenerates per 10 seconds.
