Having received a mysterious message to meet an unknown person or persons urgently in Umbra, I loosed an equally rushed pigeon message to Senior Scout Arkay to watch my back from the shadows.
It transpired that the meeting was arranged by the Drowling Vierna and that Escaflowne and myself had been invited, unwittingly to attend a meeting with her.
Hardly the sharpest tool in the shed, the Drowling proceeded to try and convince myself and Escaflowne to unite and bring further war and hardship to the people of the North and farther afield in Sosaria.
Although relations with Vesper are nay as bad as they were following the Civil War and the conflict that followed, neither set of peoples are ripe for alliance, especially not at the behest of a Drow.
The meeting hardly went as planned I'm sure for the Drow as both 'Flowne and myself gave her short shrift, reminding her that it's her and her people who live in holes in the ground and yet they call us humans dim.
In true Covian foreign relations style I didn't depart without reminding Escaflowne that his people would have been sheep substitutes for the Yewish were it not for Covians liberating Vesper from Klion's grasp and also gesturing rudely as I entered the portal to... Stonekeep???
