Ok connection is back up but my icq is not working. This is the third time icq has broken down on me but unfortunately this time i've run out of different editions to download to solve the problem. I'll just have to communicate via this forum.

Get trillian Cheesy all yer messengers in one .. and tbh i think it goes "down" never compared to what just the icq program itself used to do to me.

Hrmrm... I've used ICQ for more then 3 years myself and its always worked fine for me.. *Shrugs*

But good to have you back and I hope you'll fix ICQ soon.  Smiley

Well i think as with all the messengers out there its more on a per person basis ...


I always had problems with ICQ not staying connected .. or not able to connect (on its own .. Trillian uses Icq etc too)
Some people find icq works great for them and don't like trillian .. some like yahoo .. blah blah blah blah *gets off his soap box*

Well icq is crap.

That about sums up my reasons for wanting to try something else. I have downloaded 3 different editions and all of them, without fail, have broken down beyond repair.

It simply is the worst messenger service I have ever encountered.
