Appearance:  Axiana is an attractive woman.  Slim but shapely.  She looks younger than her years and is often mistaken to be in her mid to late 20's.  She wears good quality clothing and dresses extremely well.  She is relatively free of scars, moles, walts or distinguishing marks.  There is however, a small birthmark to the outer aspect of her left upper thigh  (which of course you are very unlikely to see, and lets hope the church does not decide to call it the mark of the guardian and throw her on the pyre, if it were ever to be unveiled!).  She bathes often, and if you are close enough to her, you will likely catch the scent of cherry blossom.

Background:  Born the second and last of two children.  Her mother, a foreign woman from the colonies, died in child birth.  Axiana has been protected and sheltered from the harsh realities of life, during her upbringing, because of this she is a little naive, even today.  Her naivety may sometimes be mistaken for stupidity.  She was well loved by her governess, Anna Cavell, which made up for the lack of love she received from her father, a nobleman of Britain.

When Axiana was 16, her father arranged for her to wed a Covian Noble.  She was brought up to be obedient and would do as her father told her.  In fact, at the time she was excited at the prospect of becoming a wife and having children.  A modest property was acquired and she was sent to live there, with her governess, in wait of the day when she would wed.  However, the wedding never took place. The nobleman in question, it was discovered, was already married.  It was at this time that she received news of her father's death.  His estate was entailed away to a cousin.  Left without financial help from both her Cousin and her Sister,  Axiana was forced to take on various work in Cove, in order to keep and maintain the property.  Her governess returned to Britain, but they never lost touch.  Axiana took in a boarder, Eve Thenasa.

Relationships/Marriage:  She has always admired the strength and physique of the guardsmen.  She was drawn to them.
  
She fell for the swagger of a grenadier who wooed her, a man much older and wiser than herself.  His name was Hirk’oto Takeamada.  They wed when she was 18.  A child followed when she was 19, a daughter, Anais.

Hirk'oto had to leave her and their child behind and alone after he departed for the colonies.  It is not known what happened to him or even if he still lives.  Because of this she is always seen in Cove alone, it is presumed by many, that she is yet unmarried.

Past and present: When Cove became overrun with the undead that plagued it.  Axiana and her daughter Anais went to live with her old Governess, Anna, in Britain, where she has been for the last ten years.

 'Posh bird' Patrician Axiana has an adventurous spirit.  However, she would never be able to survive adventure for long outside of Cove, without the protection of a hired guard, therefore she rarely leaves.
