Huntmaster Citations

An updated and developed version of Dragoon Corporal Joey Lanai's Trophy System, Huntmaster Citations are the new Honours given to Covian guardsmen that prove their hunting ability in the Covian Army.
In order to gain Huntmaster Citations, Covian guardsmen must collect Trophies from fallen creatures. Creatures they have defeated themselves, or with a squad. These Trophies earn the guardsmen Renown, and it is that Renown that acquires them the varying levels of Huntmaster Citation.

What are Trophies?
Trophies are items collected from beasts of significant difficulty during hunts, "The Tooth of a Bone Dragon", "Jaws of a Balron" and so on, purely for roleplaying value, or can be used in Watchman Trials/Company Trials.

How can they earn them?
Simple. People can earn Trophies by leading hunts to the referred monsters and make sketches of the corpse, maybe roleplay taking the item "In Character" during the hunt, something like that. Only the leader of the hunt can claim the Trophy for himself/herself by removing the said item and keeping it as a Trophy.
Note: Refer to the Tropy Listing announcement, for all Trophies that can be collected.

How are we going to keep track?
All Trophies collected, and thus Renown acquired, will be kept track of on the Administration board.

Can you give an example of a Trophy requirement?
Example;
Jaws of the Balron Trophy
Task: Lead a squad of guardsmen to slay a Balron
Requirements: A report of the hunt including a sketch of the creature's corpse.
Renown Earned: 100

Renown??
Renown is there for guardsmen to have something to aim for, and can eventually earn themselves a Huntmaster Citation.
These Citations are given out at Parades.
Note: Each guardsman can only gain One of each trophy, this stops people from just killing the same monster over and over again.

Citations
An edited and updated version of Dragoon Corporal Joey Lanai's Trophy System.
On gathering enough Renown, Covian guardsmen are eligible to receive the following citations.

Citation: Third Class Huntmaster
Renown Required: 750

The Third Class Huntmaster citation is given to those seen capable of handling themselves
during hunts, and shows capable leadership abilities.

Citation: Second Class Huntmaster
Renown Required: 1500

The Second Class Huntmaster citation is given to the more experienced hunter, showing themselves
capable of victory against a larger foe on many occasions.

Citation: First Class Huntmaster
Renown Required: 3000

The First Class Huntmaster citation is given to those who have shown outstanding leadership
abilities and are known through out the land to be the one to go to when a beast is to be slain.

Citation: Legendary Huntmaster
Renown Required: 4000

The Legendary Huntmaster is far above many, and holds enormous respect and esteem with his or her peers, as well as the Baron himself. This is the highest Huntmaster Citation that may be received.

Task: Lead a unit and retrieve the Jaws from a Balron Corpse

Heads of the Guardians

Task: Lead a unit to the Palace on the desert island in Illshenar, there you will retrieve two heads of the winged Guardians there.

Tooth of a Bone Dragon

Task: Lead a unit to the Cave Dwelling of the Undead dragon in Illshenar, beat down the beast and retrieve one of its teeth

Hair of the Snow Lady

Task: Lead a unit to Defeat the Lady of the Snow, then remove a locke of her hair.

Trophy Reward: 100



Essence of a Void Demon

Task: Lead your unit to the gargoyle realm, slay the target and collect its essence as proof.

Ethereal Scales of the Shadow Wyrm

Task: Lead a unit to Destard and Retrieve the Ethereal Scales from a Shadow Wyrm corpse.

Grand Fang Of The Dragon Lord

Task: Lead a unit to slay a greater dragon and hack out one of it's fangs.

Trophy Reward: 150



Bone of a Succubus

Task: Lead a unit to the dwelling of a Succubi and Retrieve one of its wing bones.

Trophy Reward: 150



Staff on an Ancient Liche

Task: Lead a unit to slay one of the Elder Liche's and Retrieve its staff as proof.

Tongue of a Golden Dragon

Task: Lead a unit to slay a golden dragon and remove its tongue as proof.

Golden Blood Vial of the Elemental (Blood elemental Paragon)

Task: Lead a unit to slay the Golden Wytch and bring back its belt as a reward

Fur Of The Beserk Bear.

Task: Lead a unit to the Painted Caves near Trinsic and slay the ferocious bear (Grobu) within, bringing back it's fur as a trophy.

Task: Lead a unit out to sea and awaken an ancient Leviathan, slay the beast and remove a tentacle.

Task: Lead a unit kill the beast.

Ashes of the Lich Lord (Lich Lord Paragon)

Task: Lead a unit to slay the Golden Lich Lord in its den, burn the corpse and return with some of its ashes.

Task: Lead a unit to the beasts lair, defeat it and returns with a tooth as proof.

Hand of the betrayers leader (Paragon Betrayer)

Task: Kill the leader of the betrayers in Ilshenar and sever his hand as proof.

Mechanical Arm of a Golden Exodus Minion (Exodus Minion Paragon)

Task: Lead a unit to the Demonic temple in Illshenar, gain access to the temple and slay the golden mech, remove its arm and return alive.

Vial of diseased blood

Task: Lead your unit towards the dungeon of shame, kill a diseased blood elemental and collect its blood.

Trophy Reward: 300

Tier 6

The Skull of a Bone Demon

Task: Lead a unit to the dungeon of Doom, summon the viscious beast and slay it, return with its skull as proof.

Trophy Reward: 350



Claw of the Wyrm

Task: Lead a unit to a nest of an Ancient Wyrm, kill the beast and retrieve one of its Claws.

Trophy Reward: 350



Eye of the Gazer

Task: Defeat an eternal gazer and take one of its eyes as trophy.

Trophy Reward: 350

Tier 7

Golden Claw of a Wyrm Elder (Paragon Ancient Wyrm)

Task: Lead a unit to the beasts lair, defeat it and returns with a claw as proof.

Trophy Reward: 400



Horn of the Minotaur

Task: Venture into the Labyrinth and end the misery of a tormented Minotaur. Take its horn as proof.

Golden Fang of a Succubi Mistress (Paragon Succubi)

Task: Lead a unit to the beasts lair, defeat it and returns with a Fang as proof.

Trophy Reward: 500



Rend's Claw

Task: Lead a unit to the winding paths of Labyrinth and return with the claw of Rend.

Trophy Reward: 500

Tier 9

Head of the Dread Horn

Task: Lead your party into the Twisted Weald and slay a Dread Horn. The head shall be your reward if you survive.
