.... I know i've missed someone ... damn!

I don't know why but after leavin' the tavern I felt an urge to patrol the shire.

I headed to the barracks to see if anyone was about and found Corporal Ni'Harel tendin' to her duties. I asked if she thought a patrol might be in order and persuaded her to lead it.

As she was rallying the available miltiamen Junior Guardsman Kurt appeared lookin' a bit battered an' bruised. *i knew somat was afoot I thought* It was the undead that 'ad jumped Kurt so off we went to patrol area.

First we checked the town but on the way we came across a pile o' corpses, fresh 'uns.


We carried on into the town an' checked the tower and docks, all being well Corporal Veldrin ordered us in tay the forest to see if we could find any undead prowlin' about.

We came across a few beasties but none o' the undead - though on more than one ocasion we thought we saw somethin' in the shadows. Nothing was found so happy that the area was secure we headed back to the barracks, a little downhearted that we couldn't avenge Kurts attack.

Strollin' through the forest I heard a commotion comin' from the gravyard. As i got closer I could see that Erik and Kiyoshi was givin' some zombies a good thrashin so i joined them.

Soon after Corporal Ni'Harel joined us and we proceeded to clear the graveyard.

On arrivin' back at the barracks we encountered Kurt who was challenging a stranger to our parts from Umbra? i believe. The intruder made a dash for it but Kurt an' Kiyoshi ran 'im down an' dispatched 'im.

All that was left was some rottin' bones and a scroll which Kurt read to us. The message was "Be warned ..." Kurt then burnt it believin' it was cursed.

We went to the grave yard on a patrol. We go' there bu' there wasn't much ta do.
Darath bet that the merc couldn't kill a liche on his own and won.

We walked to altmere bu' didn' find much other then a cuple of trolls.
When we go' there i' was dark so we desided ta camp there.

I awoke today an' noticed nothin' bu' a load of recrui's doin' nothin'.
So i send 'em ta the orc for' for a patrol. We ran there an' were met with a bit of resistance bu' no' much.


No' many orcs by the entrance

We cu' our way in an' foun' one of 'em biggon's. I' was a long figh' bu' we brough' i' ta i's death.


The bigger they are the harder they fall!

We slaughtered two more of these before returnin' home. When we go' back we collected the earnin's and dissmissed them.

Patrol to the Orc Fort

Nothing out of the ordinary to report. Slew some Orc Brutes, ensured the Orc Docks were empty and no back-door shinanigans were attempted by them Orcs!

Bah! Em deadites have been attackin' the city and the barracks far too often lately!

Follow me lads! We'll throw up a barricade at the Cove gates. There shall be no deadite, scoundrel or other thugs enterin' the city tonight!

*After a small while the barricade is ready and the guards settle in for a long night*



*Erik orders a few guards on regular patrol in town but nothing out of the ordinary to report. The night progresses slowly and some guards break out into singing. The most godawful singing ever heared on the planet*



*After a few more hours the day breaks and the guards prepare to move out onto more exciting tasks*

Detail:

Cleansed the Graveyard of many foes! Took up defensive position in the crypt there and didn't leave till not a damned deadite dared to crawl from under it's tombstone!

Short patrol after the defeat of the Vesparians.

The patrol along the vesperian border showed no signs of the opponents, and the following "clean-up" at the Cove graveyard to keep the undead at bay was done without any problems.

A patrol which first led us to the graveyard, we quickly then after destroying the undead threat, went down to the Vesperian borders, where we found a dead pack camel, it was on the vesperian side, seems it might be a plauge, or so the rumour goes.



All nice and clear otherwise, except a bunny which eyed me in a strange manner....

Patrol to Solem Caves

1. Checked the Vesparian Border

2. We went into the solem caves

3. Killing lion ants and normal solem ants ( followed by solem queen)

4. To the reservoir in the caves

5. More ant killing and then back home
