To clear it out some.

I arrived at the Barracks where I seen and saluted Codet Hoagie and Corporal Mela. I told them I was reporten for duty, and Officer Cadet Hoagie asked me if I fancied a trip to the orc fort. I told him that it would be grand and asked if I could replentish my spell herbs first.

I went and got what I needed and returned to see that Watchman Avarion had joined us. We then headed out and met some briggands and quickly disspatched them. We then continued to the fort where as we got there we were quickly met at the entrence of the fort.



After laying them down for a long eternal nap we moved in the fort and went to work laying everything that crossed our paths to an eternal nap. We were then met by one of them so called Brutes, it fell like a rock from a cliff. We move on and engadged another group where this time were were more pressed in our work. They fought for their lives and fought good they did, only to end up going into an eternal nap like the rest.



We then made our way out and was then ordered to return to the Barracks where we then placed all the collected coins down to be devided up. After that Officer Cadet Hoagie then Dissmissed us.

Patrol Of Covian Shire.

We patrolled through the Covian shire as we headed towards the swamp.

We were ambushed by brigands but made short work of the heathens and also any ogres and ettins etc. that came across our path.

Patrol Of Altmere And Road Back To Cove.

After clearing the swamps we headed back south to Cove.

We checked the Altmere outpost and surrounding area and again were set upon by brigands.

We dropped the nasty buggers and freed a hostage who seemed to take a shine to Vince. The fact he was a middle aged fellow with a beard like a rhododendron bush seemed to put Vince off a little. *grins*

The area secured and the road made safe we headed back to barracks.
 

That fella was a little too pleased to be rescued me thinks!

Reports of odd sounds were reported comming from the old watchpost at altmere. Watchman Mikaela and I went to investigate to find nothing amiss. We checked around, and secured the area. patrol complete.

We smashed th' Orcs at th' fort, although their numbers seem to be increasing, i never remembered there being so many about! And we discovered a ship anchored in the docks. A disturbing find indeed. Other than that, nothing to report! Things were smashed with ease, they may have numbers but they lack brain and muscle.

Patrol to Cove Grave Yard

Lead By: Watchman Averion

Purpose:

Ta remin' the undead tha' Covians run these lands!

We marched ta the undead graveyard and lined up outfront of the gates. Averion charged in first, I quickly followed. Safe ta say more than wha' we could handle was lured to us. A lich, a few gouls, several skeletons, a spector the lis' could go on. Quickly I threw my bandaids on each of Averion's wounds. I couldn' keep up wit' him because of all the undead! Quickly I was over come by the shere force of the undeads magical abilities. Dah'han and Averion fell soon after.

Dah'han returned from the healer's and the two of us pressed on. With Dah'hans grandmaster abilities in poisoning, we worked through the monster's like they wearnt even there.

Righ' aroun' the end Junior Scout Kelly and Sergeant Vince Valentine came ta our aid. I los' me tunic, leggings, arms, gloves, gorget, and shield. I go' some back from the armory though. 2272 gold pieces raised fer the coffers as well! Even with only a helmet and minimal bandaids, the tactical excellence of Dah'han and I prevailed over them nasty undeads!

Patrol of Cove Town

Due to the sharp increase in brigand activity this winter, Watchman Averion decided to lead a patrol around Cove town, interrogating citizens for any information regarding the brigands terrorising the area.



We headed around the town, asking each person what they knew of the increased activity. Although most of the people we asked had no information, one woman took offence to Averion's questioning, and hit him on the nose!

After were were sufficiently soaked, we headed back to the barracks to warm up.

Patrolling the vicinity around Cove

What at first appeared to be a routine patroll may turn out to be a disaster. I in command lost a recruit!
At first I order the attending soldiers to recon the area around our barracks no further then one can hear a voice callin`
No suspicious activity was reported to me. So I ordered an almost routhine check of the orc activity behind the mountains located near Cove.
I ordered Smudrud to do a forward recon and then report back to me. Dem and I waited a long time but the recruit did not return. He just vanished!
As I have a lickin' for this chap I was of course worried. We checked the area out no sign of him anywhere.
We proceeded raiding the orcs and trying to find Smudrud.

I did some field intarrogation on some orcs



no information was given by these hideous creatures



And Dem didnt find any clue where the recruit disappeared. All I can is, as I was in command I am responsible for the whereabouts of the recruit Smudrud.
