Good work so far, lets see what your made of.

Your Tasks

• Dragoon's, being the primary assault force of the Army, need to think quick on their feet, sometimes you'll be left to fend for yourself on the battle field when your partner falls, so alas, to prove you can do such a task, i want you to slay a Dragon on your own, bring back the claw of the beast and post a report below as proof of your heroic deed.

• A Dragoon must also be a competant leader, as in some cases you may be required to lead the squad into battle, to prove you are capable you must lead a group of Guardsmen (You and 3 others) to the Orc fort, gather 50 Shadow ore from two Orc Brutes and bring it to me, with this ore we will create your mark of the brotherhood, your Dragoon Shield.

• You must attend a cerimony where you will be branded with the mark of the Dragoon, marking your acceptance into the Squad.

A Dragon!? Alone!? What are ye ma.. Oops, done it.



After hearing what the first part of my trial was goin' to be, I set up with me sword and me ale, to the dungeon of Destard.

I charged in, and set upon the first Dragon I saw, sword swinging wildly.



After a while, with great 'elp from me "mumbo jumbo" spells, I had it on the run!



I allowed it to breathe its last breaths, and finished it off with a mighty blow.



Huah!

Later that day, after a hard day of slaying, I decided to round up some men to help me with the second part o' me trials. I met Joey, Nich, Delc, and Erik at the barracks, and after a short talk on what I 'ad to do, we were off.



It was easy enough to find the brutes, as they towered over the walls. Slaughtering dozens of the smaller orcs, we made our way to them, and slayed them. After taking their ore, Delc kindly volunteered to drag it back to the barracks.



When we arrived back home, I was shocked to discover, the worst of the mission was yet to come. I still had to take the ore to the dragoons HQ.

Served ye right! That sack of ore weighted tons... It builds yer morale and attitude!

After completing the Neophyte trial phase, Hoagie has been promoted to Class 3 and accepted into the squad.
