Hail Guardsmen,
The Caverns of fire. One of the hottest parts of these lands, and we're heading there.
Apparently in the deepest part of this scorching hell hole there lies an item with great power. Usually, i'd say leave the damn thing where it is, but our scouts report sightings of Undead entering these caverns. Now i've no idea what this item is, but i know i don't want them getting their boney hands on it, so we're going in to extract it ourselves! We leave at the eighth hour guardsmen!
