*A note nailed to the barracks door*

To Covian Army Command.

I would like to praise the actions of one Anthony Poena.

I was set upon by a ghastly ogre while at my forge behind the barracks. I was struck twice by the beast and could see my life flashing before me when this young fella stepped in and fought off the ogre with nothing more than a hunting knife.

I managed to regain my feet and thank the young man. I suggested that a fine fella such as him should sign up for service in the Covian Army but he seemed unsure.

I think this lad dwells in or around Cove and if he were ter beh recruited I think he would make a fine soldier indeed, though he does seem a little jumpy.
