i looked over the recurments to watchman for a recruit.....3 TRAININGS? I think it should be increased to 5, cause in a real situation, there's a lot of training. IC it would be better i think too, to teach UO noobs a little more before dying in blood or doom, or some other scary place Vince likes to lead us to die.

just a suggestion....

Maybe if you had healing you'd be of some earthly use and we wouldnt lose entire groups trying to keep your goblin hide in one piece? Tongue

I may be the only one that doesn't consider ranks having any real value. You don't automatically become a great role player or a great Guardsman because you suddenly gain a higher rank, be it junior, regular, senior or sergeant, which one can see at people role playing really.

But there is something on what the little puddle of smell says; the more training you get, the better you become. Just not sure the actual in game 'trainings' is the right way to do it.
Also, recruits shouldn't be put off by what they need to do to gain a rank, but rather enjoy the feeling of BoC and the role play.

Healing is of no consequence to stealthers with focus! And I know you're a UO noob, Risken!

I acually agree fully with Jack there, I've been here for a long time.. and still a watchman. Rank is ver important, only RP is. And as for the trainings.. I think that any activity with fellow Role Players would spark better RP and more fun. Most of all the random un-planned RP that pops about... the best stuff really!

Wyverns and orcs are believed to eat anything.

My suggestion is to create a squad specifically for goblins, say "Cannon Fodder" or "Goblin Shield"... *nods nods*

I says we send um on Spy missions deemed to dangerous for anyone else!! they are rather small.... and who cares for gobs? i mean they can walk right into a fortress... take the jewels and that beautiful princess and come scurring back before anyone knows whats amiss. In the end our enemies are short treasures, plans, and a princess to boot!! or if they fail and die.... who missed em eh?
