The Covian navy is seeking fresh applicants!

Do you have a sense of adventure? The ability to look a kraken in the eye and laugh? A good grasp of maritime culture? The stomach to stand massive seas and the brisk sea wind?

Hmm, thinking of an Alt who would be a "navigator" with Cartography for mapping and insription for copying Logs and Records.

At present the navy is similar to the existing squads, i.e those interested in joining can udnertake the Naval Trials once they have reached the rank of Junior Guardsman.  Recruits/Watchmen interested can of course take part in events that will be run for marines and marine recruits, the same as stealther Recruits/Watchmen can take part in Light Company events that are open to Scout Recruits.
