Not sure if anyone has any experience with this, but I got the following problem.
Being a good friend I once paid for a mate's account and chose the 3 month payment plan.

Now, he has quit UO again (by simply not playing) and vanished from the bottom of the earth as well it seems, however not before changing his password. Ok, royal suck, but meh!

This is my problem, I plan to issue a chargeback on those 40 euro but do want to leave the payments for my accounts in order. The creditcard that paid for all those accounts is the same and this in a way his account is linked to mine. Would that mean that EA would block my accounts too if I only changed back the 40 euro? Or would they simply block just that account (assuming it hasn't been played on and thus the 40 euro paid for time remains "unused"). So in short, I want to charge back the 40 euro that was paid for my mates account but want to leave my accounts in order.

Some advice or experience would be appreciated here.

I would call their customer service and ask to be certain.

I must say. Doubtful that you shall be refunded because, the ysee it as: you paid for the account to "not be deleted" from the archives. Its what I go told when I tried to refund 4 months of not playing a single second of the game, said that the fee went towards the "ability to log in at anytime I chose with the security that my account would be kept active in good stead rather than be "terminated"

Blah blah blah......  yea... prepare to bite it on this one mate.

Call them...They'll remove your CC info from all accounts. You can then log on to the accounts you still have passwords to and reinsert the info.

I doubt you'll get a refund. Kind of obvious you've payed for a subscription, wether you use it a lot/sometimes/never.
