Title : Hunting trip to dungeon Shame.

When: 13th of April, approx 21:00 - 23:00
Where: From the Barracks to the upper level in Shame.

Commanding Officer: Raiden Morana.

Guardsmen in attendance:

- Guardsman recruit Maldraedior.
- Guardsman recruit Andrew.
- Guardsman recruit Celuvian Haap.
- Guardsman recruit Duvort Stein.
- Guardsman recruit Douglas Kione.
- Junior Grenadier Eve.
- Junior Dragoon Felina Trix.
- Regular Scout Dalamar. ( Late joiner. )

What:
Right after Sir Conan had finished his sentry and investigation event in Cove town - Sir Raiden took over the lineup. A hunting trip was planned - but our destination was not. We, the attending guardsmen, was allowed to choose where our trip would go. Guardsman recruit Celuvian Haap had a strong desire to head into dungeon Shame, with none of the other guardsmen disagreeing - this was going to be our hunting location. Sir Raiden Morana needed a volunteer - and of course I had to raise my hand. *mutters* I was given the honor of writing the report.

As the Covian Army has recruited several spellcasters lately - we did not need to run through Yew to get to dungeon Shame, we had the luxury of using magical portals as transport. We ran through the first level with ease, not meeting any elementals or scorpions that could be of any threat to our great Covian force. Moving through the first level in Shame, we came across a strange magical statue. The room it was located in was filled with gravestones and runes. Guardsman recruit Maldraedior and Celuvian Haap, both being Battle mages, were able to understand the meaning of the magical runes.. After comprehending the language written on the runes, they found out that speaking the word "Wisdom" close to the statue - would teleport them into the Mage lord tower in the upper level of the dungeon. Of course, not wanting to put any of the other guardsmen lives in danger, I spoke the word "Wisdom" first, to check if the comprehending was right. I was instantly teleported to the mage tower, facing one of the mage lords right away in an arcane duel. Right after my final blow that fell the mage lord - Celuvian Haap appeared, few seconds later followed by our entire Squad.

After securing the mage tower, we started to move through the upper level of Shame. Sir Raiden Morana was in the front to taunt the elementals and other foul creatures to attack him, so we could concentrate our cross healing on him most of the time.

The thoughts behind the hunting trip was not only to gather some gold coins to the Covian founds, but also to get some real battle training. Some of the elementals in the upper level were way to strong for a single guardsman to defeat, thus Forming fast and cross healing each other was needed to survive. Tonight that went really well I must admit. Sir Raiden was clear in his orders and the other guardsmen had full focus. Even the strongest blood elementals did not even come close to knocking one of us - and they went down rapidly!

After clearing the whole upper level - we cleared our way back to the secured Mage tower. Having a double lineup on the roof, with all guardsmen still standing, we had to let our name be remembered amongst the foul creatures in Shame, even into the deepest roots of the Dungeon! I have no doubt that Cove is still clanging through each and every corridor and room in the whole cavern system!

We travelled with magical gates as transport when we returned to the Barracks.  Here everyone gave each other a pat on the back for a well done job, and the gold coins was counted and split between the attending guardsmen - 18634 gold crowns in total, a grand sum I must say!

We had some problems a few nights ago in Deceit when we went with a large Force, about the same size as we had tonight. The cross healing did not go so well, probably because everyone was slacking since everyone thought there were many other guardsmen around to take care of the job - so it did not get done. Tonight we did really well on the other hand. Also it was grand to see so many guardsmen awake at the same time, lets keep it up! For the Baron and Cove!

Raiden sat down to relax at the Grenadier HQ and browsed over some reports.

"Ha! Ye know Vince... I think a few of these latest recruits might just make it to Watchman!"

Fine report Maldraedior and well done to everyone who took part - keep it up!

We gave the inhabitants of dungeon Shame a damned good thrashing.

FOR COVE!!!
