As one of my Dragoon Apprenticeship tasks, I was ordered to clean the stables and stock it with fresh hay. It's a dirty job, but someone has to do it.
My first objective was to obtain the best quality hay possible. The best wheat can be found near Skara Brae. Since I did not want to chance any altercation with enemy soldiers, I traveled disguised as a Tokuno peasant.
Next was the task of cleaning the stable. Horses are large animals and therefore they make large piles. After shoveling the manure out, I cleaned and the water trough and filled it with fresh water.
Lastly, I had to find where to dispose of the horse dung. I heard Vesper was in short supply of manure, so I packed a good load of it into a gift box for the new Baron of Vesper. So as to not embarrass the new Baron with our generosity, I left it anonymously.
