Small tournament (report)

   A rather Odd tournament arranged by Flina Trix, Unsure really what the goal of it was, but the rules were stacked against Scouts. the Battles started out as follows... If I remember right.

Round One: Tiberius Vs Hoagie --> Match wen to Hoagie by knockout

Round Two: Gabriel Drachen Vs Zoie Hayden --> Match went to Zoie by Forfeit

Round Three: Raiden Morana Vs Kal Shadowhand -->Match went to Raiden by  Knockout.

Round Four: Perrin Vs Darian Krown --> Match went to Perrin by Knockout.

The Losers then faught to decide which of them was the best. The matches for the loser Bracket went as Follows.

Round One: Kal Shadowhand Vs Tiberius --> Kal Won by Knockout and ALOT of Poison.

Round Two: Gabriel Drachen Vs Darian Krown --> Darian won by knockout.

Round Three: Kal Shadowhand Vs Darian Krown --> Kal won by complete Massacre.

  It turns out the fights were all to decide who would be in a team for a tournament between the cities. I found this a bit odd, as it seems some of our best were left out, but I did not mind. It would Seem Our towns Team will be made up of the following men and Women.

Hoagie: The Baldie with the blade.

Kal Shadowhand: the Infectious Personality

Zoie Hayden: The Watchman with a Mace.

Raiden Morana:   The Explodin Covian

Perrin: The Braided Archer

  The battles were a bit unplanned and a bit bumpy as they were planned on the spot. But apart from that it was a very good event. I wish the best of luck to the team. Things liek this aren't my thing, I prefer the shadows.

Hrm.... this is are team right Coves best you say ?! Well do us proud and take the prize teach Vesper and the world that we are the strongest!
Unfortunately i wasn't there to erm.. show you up but good luck Cove is with you!

The "best" were left out because they didn't bother coming to the tryouts, so probably aren't interested in the tournament in the first place. The team was formed of the best who were at the tryout.

I think we'll do well with the team we ended up with.

Maybe some didn't think a one on one tournament was the best way to try out for a team competition? One on one fights tend to favour a particular type of fighter. Most notably, the type of fighter that wont stand a chance in group battle.

But you'll do us proud! I have no doubt!

I think having a mixed team is a good idea and I hope the advice about the armour is taken to the tournament.
